South Madison County Soccer Organization
Welcome to the South Madison County Soccer Organization.

We are a non-profit organization providing a facility for youth soccer under the guidance of the Mississippi Youth Soccer Organization. SMCSO is a full service organization established in 1995. SMCSO provides an opportunity for the youth of our area to participate in group sports, developing their soccer abilities as well as developing teamwork, responsibility, self-confidence and a love for the game. We are partnered with MS United, as our select arm. We serve approximately 1900 soccer players over all from age 4 and above. We strive to provide age/ ability appropriate training activities and games.

Our developmental approach focuses on individual technical skills and group tactical awareness and a passion for the game. It is our belief that experience is more important than outcome. SMCSO further enhances our players and coaches by providing the following developmental programming:

Small sided games
Goal Keeper Training
Skills Night
U10 Developmental pools
Summer Soccer Camps

We are fortunate in that our organization is one a few in the state that employs a full time Director of Coaching. Kenny White, our director, has a USSF “A” license and over 16 years of coaching experience. He has provided SMCSO with numerous coaching education opportunities. Kenny is a member of both USYSA and USSF National Instructor Staff. The league and Kenny are committed to not only developing players but also coaches.

Our organization believes that proactive and ongoing parent education is important. We look to the parents to provide coaches for our teams. We also ask our parents to provide an example of sportsmanlike conduct for our players.

SMCSO has at its disposal some of the best facilities not only in Jackson but also the State and possibly the region.
