Technical Director/Director of Coaching
Kenny White -
Kenny White, Technical Director. Kenny is a certified USSF "A" Licensed coach and National Youth License Coach. He serves as Technical Director of Mississippi Fire and Director of South Madison County Soccer Organization. Kenny is also a USSF and UYS National Instructor Staff coach. He serves as an ODP Region III Boys and Girls Staff Coach and Mississippi ODP Staff Coach. He also serves as a MS Youth Soccer Association Staff Youth Instructor. Kenny is a former State Director of Coaching for Alabama and former coach of the New Orleans Gamblers of the "A" League.

Bill Hood -
Bill Hood graduated in 2000 from Washington High School in Greenville, MS, where he captained two state championships and helped coach them to another in the following year. He played club soccer for Clinton Arsenal with coach Britton Webb, under Aziz Khanifar, where they found state titles each year from U-12 to U-18.
Bill began his college career at Mississippi College, playing for two seasons, then transferring to Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL, where he finished his playing career. The year after his graduation from SHC he was hired as Interim-Head Soccer Coach for both the men's and women's teams for that season, followed by two years as Assistant Athletic Director for the college.

Carlos McGregor -
CARLOS MCGREGOR is a former Director of Coaches at CJSO. He is certified with his USSF “C” License. He is a former standout at Spartanburg Methodist College, Spartanburg, SC where he assisted his team in capturing the National Junior College Championship (NJCAA) 1994. He is also a former semi-professional player with Jackson Chargers (USISL) Jackson, MS, Columbia Heat (USISL) Columbia, SC, and United Petrotrin Soccer Club of Trinidad and Tobago his native country. Carlos also represented his country Trinidad and Tobago at the National Youth Level, U23 Olympic Qualifier and has One National Senior Team Appearance. Carlos is a Trainer at Calloway High School, former coach at Mississippi United presently Mississippi Fire, Former Staff Coach of Mississippi Olympic Development Program (ODP), & also involved in community programs. Graduated from Spartanburg Methodist College with his (AS) degree, and Jackson State University with a (BS) degree

Assistant Director of Coaching (Girls)
Cecil Hinds -
Cecil is certified with his USSF “B” License and National Youth License. He serves as the Mississippi Fire Assistant Director for Girl’s Soccer. He is a MS ODP Staff Coach and is the Boys and Girls Assistant Coach and Trainer at Northwest Rankin High School. He is also a MYSA Staff Youth Instructor. Cecil is a former standout at Belhaven College and former semi-professional player with the Jackson Chargers. Cecil represented his country Trinidad & Tobago at the National Youth Level. He is also involved in community recreational soccer programs. Cecil was recently named, “2006 Youth Coach of the Year” by MS Youth Soccer.

Jeremy Shortt -
Jeremy is certified with his USSF “B” License and is an Olympic Development coach and Head Girls Coach at St Joseph HS, Madison where they were the 1-2-3A State Champions. Jeremy is a former standout at Belhaven College, being named NAIA All American in 1997. He is also a former semi-professional player with the Jackson Chargers. He played at the National Senior level representing his country, Trinidad & Tobago.

Britton Webb -
Britton is certified with his USSF "D" License. He is a former standout at Hinds Community College, MS being named to the All State Team before moving on to Captain Mid-Continent College in Mayfield, KY. Britton finished his career at Mid-Continent College as KIAC Conference Champions (twice), Regional Champions and National Finalists (NCCAA). He was also named to the All Conference 2nd Team. As a youth, Britton played for Clinton Arsenal where his team won seven State Championships. Britton also represented the State of Mississippi at the ODP level from 1994-1998. As a coach, Britton has served as Head Boys Soccer Coach at Reidland High School in Paducah, KY for 2 years and a coach for Paducah Raptors and Jackson Purchase Futbol Club U14B.

Bruce Roden -
As a youth, Bruce played and captained the Provincial Colors at the U12, U14 and U16 levels where he led them to a National Championship at U16. He also captained the Kwazulu Natal Defense Team before playing semi-professional soccer for 13 years at Ramblers FC, Durban, South Africa.

David Johnson -
David is a certified USSF “D” License Coach. He is a former standout at Belhaven College, being named NAIA District Player of the Year, NAIA All American and NAIA All Tournament Team in 1992. David also served as the Captain of the Belhaven College National NAIA Championship Team in 1992. He is a former semi-professional player with the Jackson Chargers (USISL).

Derick Washer -
Derick is a certified USSF "D" License Coach. He is a former standout at Madison Central High School where he captained his team in his Junior and Senior years while being a 4 year starter. Derick's high school accomplishments include being named to MHSAA All Star Team and All State 1st Team in his Senior year. He continued his playing career at the University of Southern Mississippi where he played on the men's club team and local men's leagues and tournaments. As a youth he played Division I soccer at Jackson Futbol Club while representing the state of Mississippi at the ODP level attending Regional Camps in Cocoa Beach, FL and Oklahoma from 1994-1997.

Fenton Graham -
Fenton Graham is a native of Jamaica where he played for the Jamaica Elite Super Club Team. He was a four year starter at Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, Kentucky. While attending Mid-Continent, Fenton coached the Under 13 and Under 15 teams with the Jackson Purchase Futbol Club. He is a USSF Certified Coach and and Grade 8 Referee.

Garreth DeKlerk -
Garreth is a former standout at Old Parktonians FC in South Africa. He was named Youth Player of the Year in 2002 and Senior Player of the Year in 2003. As a youth, Garreth also represented his Province at the ODP level at the ages of U12, U15, U17 and U19. He coached at Old Parktonians FC and served as head coach of the Hyde Park HS U14 Team winning the HS Cup. He has also served at the GK coach for the Jr. teams at Old Park. He most recently played for Hinds Community College.

Chad Hampton -
Chad played high school soccer in Florence before going to Mississippi College where he was a four- year starter. Most recently he was a coach for Gulf Coast United FC and the men’s and women’s assistant coach at Pearl River Community College where he also served as the recruiting coordinator. He is a member of the NSCAA and nationally licensed through USSF.

Ian MacDonald -
Ian is a certified USSF “D” Licensed Coach. He is a former standout at the University of West Florida. He has represented his country, South Africa, at the U23 National Level. He is also a former semi-professional player with Southern Suburbs (South Africa) and player/coach of New Orleans Gamblers (“A” League). Ian also coached at Savannah, GA (Professional). He is also involved with community recreational soccer programs.

Matt Convertino -
Mat Convertino is currently the coach at Holmes Community College in
Ridgeland. He is a former assistant men’s and women's soccer coach at
Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. He holds a National “B: license as
well as USSF's National Youth License. After graduating from high school in
1993, Convertino played two years at Herkimer County Community College
where the Generals won two Mountain Valley Conference Championships, two
NJCAA Region III Championships, and one NJCAA National Championship. He
transferred to the University of Mobile where the Rams won the University
of Mobile's first Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championship and NAIA
Southwest Regional Championship. The Rams also made two national tournament
appearances finishing with top 10 national rankings both years. Matt is
also a member of the Mississippi Soccer Association instructional staff.

Montgomery Hinton -
Montgomery is a certified USSF "C" Licensed Coach and serves as Northwest Rankin High School Girls' Head Coach and Boys' Assistant Coach. As a youth, he played club soccer in Clinton and then collegiately at Mississippi College and Baylor University. While attending the University of London, he played for St Thomas Football Club of London, England. As a coach, Montgomery has served as a Director of Coaching for Aslans Soccer Club and Club Coach for Rankin United Futbol Club (RUFC) winning multiple State Championships.

Rigo Cedeno -
Rigo is a certified USSF "C" License Coach. He was a former standout at Belhaven College before playing semi-professional soccer for the Jackson Chargers. Rigo represented his country, Trinidad and Tobago, at the National Youth Level. He is a former coach at JFC and continues his involvement with community recreational soccer programs.

Josh Avenmarg -
Josh Avenmarg holds a National “D” License and is currently the head girls’ coach at Ridgeland High School where his teams have won 5 consecutive 4A State titles. He has been named as the Mississippi Association of Coaches 4A Coach of the Year for five consecutive years and was the Overall State Coach of the Year in 2005. He has also been named as the MHSAA Girls Soccer Coach of the Year in 2006 and went on to win the National Federation of High Schools Southeast Sectional COY in 2007. He played both varsity baseball and club soccer at Delta State University before transferring and graduating from USM in 1993. He has coached multiple sports on the high school level for 14 years, serving as a head soccer coach in eight of those years, and assisted Cecil Hinds with the Fire’s 15’s and 13’s girls in 2007.

Trey Woodham -
Trey is a certified USSF "D" License Coach. He was a former standout at Centenary College. As a youth, Trey played for 2-time State Champions Shreveport Futbol Club while attending Loyola College Prep where he attained All-District, All-City and All-State status. He also represented Louisiana at the ODP level. As a coach, Trey has served as Loyola College Prep Girls Varsity Head Coach being named, All-City Coach of the Year and District Coach of the Year. He also coached at Shreveport Futbol Club.

William Ward -
William was a former standout at Belhaven College, MS when they won the NAIA National Championship in 1992. He is also a former semi-professional player with the Jackson Chargers (USISL). William grew up playing Division I (Select) soccer in Mississippi where he helped his team to the Regional Championships 6 times. Throughout the years William has remained close to the game and has been involved with community recreational soccer programs.

Allen Anderson -
Allen Anderson played college soccer at Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, Kentucky. He also played for the USL’s Clarksville Gunners and Nashville Metros in addition to being a member of Team Budweiser in the semi-professional indoor league. Allen has coached U13 – U18 boys and girls with the Jackson Purchase Futbol Club.

Steve Decou -
The Mississippi Fire welcomes Steve DeCou, head men’s coach at Belhaven College to the Fire staff. Previously Steve served as head soccer coach at Trinity Christian College in Chicago, Illinois. While coaching at Trinity, DeCou led his team to capture the NCAA North Central Region title and advance to the NCAA National Championships. DeCou was named CCAC Coach of the Year. Previous to Trinity Christian College, DeCou coached at Huntington College in Indiana and Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga. Steve is a 1995 graduate of Tennessee Temple University with a degree in physical education. He also completed his master’s degree in sports medicine at the United States Sports Academy, and he holds an USSF "A" license as well as a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. Steve and his wife, Amy are the parents of one daughter, Sadie.
